📜 True Cost of Paper Receipts vs. QR Receipts

Example 1: India

1. Paper Roll Cost

  • Standard 80 mm × 50 m POS roll ≈ ₹50 per roll.

  • Each roll prints ≈ 360 receipts (average 14 cm each).

  • ₹50 ÷ 360 ≈ ₹0.14 (14 paisa per receipt).
